IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's soccer team (4-3, 0-2 SCAC) fell 4-1 versus fourth-ranked Trinity (7-1, 3-0 SCAC) on Sunday afternoon at Crusader Field. It is the third match the Crusaders have dropped in a row.

The navy and white did its best to limit the top 25 opponent to four goals, but were unable to keep pace with the Tigers' 31 shot total in the contest.

Dallas managed 13 of its own, led by a trio of players that garnered two apiece. Those included: senior midfielders Matthew Wise (Portland, Ore.) and Luke Schwarz (Tucson, Ariz.), and junior forward Colton Allen (Roanoke, Texas).

Allen fired one of those pair of shots in the back of the goal in the 10th minute to give the Crusaders an early edge. His fourth goal of the campaign came off a pass from Nathan Nwaeze, who collected the assist.

In the first half, Trinity took advantage of 19 shots and posted three goals against sophomore goalkeeper Tino Gamueda (Lubbock, Texas), who took the loss (3-2) in the net. He did grab four saves in 45 minutes of action.

Scoring for the maroon and white were Tom Carwile, Ian Morris, and Zac Treu. Johnny Lawson was credited with an assist on the first pair of scores, while his own goal in the second frame would net him a game-high, four points.

Sophomore goalkeeper P.J. Hasson (Fairvax, Va.) worked the final 45 minutes, allowing a goal and nabbing five saves. He has allowed only two goals and combined for 25 saves in 320:19 minutes on the season.
