Men's Soccer chases Concordia Tornados

On Tuesday afternoon, the University of Dallas men's soccer team (5-8) defeated Concordia University, 1-0, scoring the game clincher 78-minutes into the game. Sophomore midfielder Alex Lebl (Flowood, Miss./Jackson Prep) made the goal off assists from senior co-captain midfielder Ryan Meske (Niwot, Colo./Niwot H.S.) and junior defender Preston Waltrip (Derby, KS/Derby H.S.).

Dallas held control on offense, taking 17 shots on the Concordia goalkeeper. UD freshman goalkeeper Sam Carter (Chicago, Ill.) had two saves, and the defense blocked three of Concordia's shots. Carter and the Crusaders have now posted back-to-back shutouts. 

UD will next be in action on Tuesday, Oct. 19, when they host Southwestern Christian College in a reserve match at 4:00 p.m.
