Men's Soccer loses reserve match to Mountain View College

The University of Dallas men's soccer team lost 0-3 to Mountain View College, in a game pitting the two team's reserves against each other. 

UD had several reserve attackers testing the other team's goalie, with four shots on goal. Freshman midfielder John Owen (Mount Jackson, Va./St. Gregory's Academy) had two shots, both on goal; sophomore midfielder Alex Lebl (Flowood, Miss./Jackson Prep) had two shots, one on goal; and one from junior defender Kevin Potts (Jackson, Miss./Hillsdale Academy). Dallas also brought out two reserve goalies to try their skills out, senior Matt Spenla who had three saves and Daniel Matamoras who had two. 

UD will next face the University of St. Thomas (Texas) on Oct. 8, at 4:00 p.m., in a home game at Crusader Field.
