UD Men’s Soccer Takes Tough Loss on Road

The University of Dallas men's soccer team played LeTourneau University on Tuesday, September 7 in Longview, TX. The soccer team's second match of the season, following a 2-1 defeat against Austin College, turned out the same as the first when they were defeated 2-1 against the Yellow Jackets. LeTourneau opened up the scoring six minutes into the match and followed up on that with another score in the thirty-third minute. However, right before halftime, sophomore defender Joey Killion (Katy, TX/Katy H.S.) scored UD's lone goal. The game ended with a final score of 2-1, giving UD their second loss of the season.

The men's soccer team still has many more games to get on the winning side of the scorebook. The team starts with a return home for a September 11 game against East Texas Baptist University. The home game kicks off at 5:00pm and can be viewed online at http://www.collegetvticket.com.
