UD Men's Lacrosse Supports Lacrosse for Life

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's lacrosse team joined the lacrosse community in supporting a growing cause that resulted in raising over $2.1 million to battle cancer. The cause known as Lacrosse for Life, an initiative spearheaded by a trio of Brown lacrosse players that donated $1,000 to Boston Children's Hospital for every player who shaved their head by March 1. In the end, 92 lacrosse programs had raised the amount of money listed above with the number of participants reaching 2,109 after a deadline that had been extended a couple days.
