McClendon to give Crusaders' Game Day Experience on SCAC Instagram as Part of DIII Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Each April, the NCAA recognizes individuals associated with Division III through its annual Division III Week celebration. During this week, Division III schools and conference offices are encouraged to conduct a type of outreach activity that falls into one of three categories: acedmic accomplishment, athletic expereince or leadership/community service/campus involvement. This year Division III week will be held from April 1st through April 7th.

The SCAC plans to celebrate Division III week by allowing a student-athlete from each member institution to take over the conference's Instagram account to highlight the student-athlete game day experience. The take overs will begin on March 30th and conclude on April 7th. 

Joshua McClendon (San Diego, Calif.) was selected from the men's lacrosse team. Dallas hosts Hardin-Simmons University on Sunday, April 7, at 1 p.m. He will be one of four seniors also recognized beforehand.
