Men's Golf Leads After Day One of The Whitney
WHITNEY, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team wrapped up day one of their spring home event, The Whitney, on Monday. The 35th ranked Crusaders currently occupt first place with a score of 310; they top #21 Trinity (314), #31 East Texas Baptist (318), and #20 Pomona-Pitzer (320).
Trey Schneider is leading the way for Dallas, as he is tied for second with a 75 in round one. He is tied with Daniel Nunez of Trinity, and is four strokes behind the leader, Jacob Mason of Trinity. Rex Soulliere and Jackson Lehner aren't far behind; the pair are tied for fifth with a score of 77.
Rounding out the field for Dallas: Karsten Paciotti is T13 with an 81, Anthony Prudence is T15 with an 83, and Mason Hitt is T27 with an 87.
The tournament will conclude tomorrow with a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.
