Lehner and Paciotti Make All-Tournament Team at Alamo City Classic

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team wrapped up competition in the Alamo City Classic hosted by Trinity University on Tuesday.  The Crusaders finished in fifth placeat +15 for the tournament, nine strokes ahead of sixth place mary Hardin-Baylor (B) and six strokes behind fourth place Schreiner University.  Trinity posted the low team round in round three at 273 to climb three spots on the leaderboard and win the event, six strokes ahead of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

Jackson Lehner (pictured, middle-left) shot a 69 to climb two spots on the leaderboard and tie with teammate Karsten Paciotti (pictured, middle-right), who shot a 71.  The pair tied for fifth place at -1 for the tournament and tied for third in Par 4 scoring at -2.  Lehner tied for second with 13 birdies in the tournament, and Paciotti was second in Par 3 scoring.

Rex Soulliere was just three strokes outside the top 10 at +4 for the tournament after shooting 73 in round three; he was tied for fourth in Par 5 scoring at -3.  Trey Schneider climbed four spots to 34th with a 72 in the final round, and Mason Hitt dropped a few spots to 37th with a 78.  Anthony Prudence rounded out the field for Dallas in 43rd, climbing two spots after shaving four strokes off his round two score with a 77.

The Crusaders have their final event of the fall in about two weeks time.  They will host the Crusader Invitational at the Winstar Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma starting on Monday, October 24.
