Crusaders Take 4th at Rhodes Invitational

TUNICA, Miss. - The University of Dallas men's golf team wrapped up competition in the Rhodes Fall Invitational on Tuesday, tieing for fourth place in the field of 19 teams with a two-day, three-round score of 881.  They were six strokes from a top three finish, placing just behind Sewanee, and were 20 strokes off the champions, Piedmont University. As a team, they cut 10 strokes of their total score from rounds two to three, able to separate themselves from Huntingdon College, who they were tied with at the end of day one.

Karsten Paciotti and Jackson Lehner paced the team, finishing tied for sixth with a total score of 214.  They both climbed the standings to do so, Paciotti moving up from eighth place, and Lehner moving up nine spots from 15th.  Rex Soulliere finished +10 for the tournament in T38, Trey Schneider was right behind at +11 and T41, and Anthony Prudence rounded out the field for Dallas with a three-round score of +30.

This is the best finish of the very young season for the Crusaders, and their best finish since taking fourth at the Schreiner Spring Shootout last March.
