Men's Golf Takes 2nd in John Bohmann Invitational

SEGUIN, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team finished their two day, 54 hole tournament at the John Bohmann Memorial Invitational this afternoon.  The Crusaders played  12 strokes off the leaders, Trinity University, shooting 576 to Trinity's 564 after two rounds.  Texas Lutheran and Our Lady of the Lake (B) were right behind in third and fourth, shooting 577 and 578, respectively.  The final round took its toll on the leaders, Trinity, who fell from -4 to +3 on the tournament after shooting a 291.  But so too did the rest of the field, with every top five team's score inflating from round two to the final round. The Crusaders (+16) and Bulldogs (+17) each shot 292 on the final day, solidifying their second and third place finishes.

Karsten Paciotti was in a four-way tie for eighth place after day one, sitting at -1 after shooting 72 and 69 in the first two rounds.  He would separate himself from the pack with a final round of 73, good enough for sole possession of seventh place at +1 for the tournament.

Trey Schneider was sitting outside the top 20 after day one after shooting 74 and 72 (+4), but managed to break through and finish tied for 15th with a final round of 72, finishing +5 for the tourney.

Individual Standings
