2021 UD Top Performer: Montalvo Claims 2nd at Rhodes College Spring Classic

IRVING, Texas - We are taking a look back at top individual performances and moments from the spring of 2021. It was a unique semester in which the University of Dallas had 15 NCAA sponsored sports competing.

Emilio Montalvo earned second place at the Rhodes College Spring Classic with a 214 (74, 66, 74), his third best three-round tournament ever and would end up as his best on this campaign. Montalvo benefitted from 12 birdies (T-3^rd most) and even scored an eagle. Montalvo notched a 66 for a personal-best score in a round, and was one stroke off from tying the low round school record. Montalvo's performance helped the Crusaders take second place as a team in a large tournament.
