Crusaders Finished Schreiner Spring Shootout in 7th

KERRVILLE, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team completed their two round tournament in the Schreiner Spring Shootout on Tuesday. Dallas finished in 7th place with a team score of 627.

Robby Evans (Flower Mound, Texas) was UD's top golfer of the tournament finishing tied for 9th place with a score of 152. Emilio Montalvo (Mexico City, Mexico) also cracked the top 20 tying for 19th shooting a 154.

McMurry University were the tournament victors with a team score of 601 edging out Trinity University by one stroke.

McMurry's Lane Roye was the individual winner of the tournament with a low score of 143. Roye beat out Trinity's Holden Wisener who ended with a score of 145.

Dallas continues the season next weekend on Saturday and Sunday, March 20 and 21. UD will attend the Texas Cup hosted by the University of Texas at Dallas at the Watters Creek golf club in Plano, Texas.
