Crusaders Complete Two Rounds at West Region Invitational on Monday
GEORGETOWN, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team completed Round One and Two of the West Region Invitational at Berry Creek Country Club on Monday. Robby Evans (Flower Mound, Texas) currently sits in a tie for 7th place after shooting a 147 (76, 71). Dallas as a team is in fifth place out of nine teams ahead of SCAC foes Centenary College and Southwestern University (B).
Emilio Montalvo (Mexico City, Mexico) is in a tie for 16th after carding a 76 in each round. Seth McNeill (Plano, Texas) is tied for 18th with two other players at +10 (154). Jacob Wade (Magnolia, Texas) improved in the second round by shooting a 77 after carding an 83 in round one. Erik Hamm (Brentwood, Tenn.) shot an 81 and 83 on the day.
Andrew Errico (Howard Payne University) leads the pack. Chase Maus (Texas Lutheran University) is in second place, while his teammate Colin Uecker is tied with Sutherland Stith (Southwestern University) for third.
TLU and Southwestern are tied for first place after Day One. Nebraska Wesleyan sits in third place to wrap up the top three.
