Schuberg named SCAC Men's Golfer of the Week
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – THOMAS SCHUBERG OF UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a junior from Camarillo, California, has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week for competition played through March 13th. It is the second time in 2017-18 that Schuberg has been awarded the weekly honor, and is his fifth of his career.
Schuberg led all of the league's men's players at the Pinecrest Intercollegiate during the last week of play. During three rounds of competition, Schuberg started out with the lowest score for Dallas through 18 holes with a 71. That total matched the lowest of the tournament by a UD golfer, and ranked Schuberg tied for 3rd at the time.
Schuberg finished with a 224 by the completion of the team's third straight tournament in as many weeks this spring.
Dallas resumes play with an even quicker turnaround on Mar. 17th-18th at the Texas Cup at Watters Creek in Plano.
