Men's Golf in 6th at Alamo City Classic after Round 1

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The University of Dallas men's golf team competed round one of the Alamo City Classic at The Quarry Golf Club on Monday. Dallas finished the day in sixth with a 312.

Robby Evans (Flower Mound, Texas) shot the lowest for the Crusaders tallying a 75. The top seed for UD sits tied for sixth in the standings. Jacob Wade (Magnolia, Texas) and Seth McNeill (Plano, Texas) contributed 77 each and are tied in 14th.

The Crusaders are 11 strokes behind top team, Hardin-Simmons University, who performed the best with a 301. Schreiner University and Texas Lutheran University complete the top three with 304 and 306. Webster University (307) and host school Trinity University (310) are all within striking distance of UD, as it looks to finish the fall season on a strong note Tuesday.
