Men's Golf Results on Saturday versus Hendrix College

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's golf team would finish second on Saturday in a dual tournament against Hendrix College hosted at Las Colinas Country Club. The Warriors took first with a team score of 309, while Dallas etched a 342. 

Leading the Crusaders for the fourth-straight tournament this fall was freshman Thomas Schuberg (Camarillo, Calif.) shooting an 83. His team-high placed him fifth in the individaul standings. Fellow classmate Peter Trevino (Dallas, Texas) was right behind him garnering a score of 85 to match a season-low for the second day in a row. Sophomore Matthew Nickel (Wichita, Kan.) totaled an 86 on his scorecard to complete the top three for Dallas. 

Headlining the tournament by shooting two under par with a 69 was Kevin Austrian. His game-high won the title in the individual rankings for the second-straight day. He won on Friday at Luna Vista after posting a 77. 

Also rounding out the top three individual spots in the overall standings for HC were Hayden Proctor and Connor Thompson. The duo shot a 78 and 80, respectively. 

Dallas has concluded its 2015 fall portion of the season. The next expected tournament for UD is March 21-22 in Bossier City, Louisiana, for the Centenary/Hal Sutton Invitational. Be sure to follow the 2016 Schedule for any future updates.
