Men's Golf posts 10th place finish at UMHB Invitational
The University of Dallas men's golf team wrapped up play in the UMHB Fall Invitational on Tuesday -- the Crusaders had a two-round total of 335-340, 675.
Freshman Marcos Martinez's (The Woodlands, TX/The Woodlands H.S.) 79 merited low round of the day for UD, but it wasn't enough to catch teammate Brady Bulmanski's (Batesville, AR/Batesville H.S.) cumulative tournament total. Martinez's two-day total was 85-79, 164, while Bulmanski shot 78-82, 160.
Texas-Brownsville's Marcus Cavazos was the tournament's individual champion, shooting a two-day total of 73-70, 143. Tyler Junior College brought home the first place hardware as a team, posting 307-290, 597.
Up next on the schedule for UD will be a trip to College Station, PA, where they'll participate in the USCAA National Golf Championship on October 10-11.
