Round-one in books for Men's Golf at UMHB Invitational
With fall in the air, the University of Dallas men's golf team teed-off in the Mary-Hardin Baylor Invitational at Mill Creek Country Club in Killeen, TX, Monday afternoon.
The team posted a score of 335 on the 7,213-yard par-72 course, which has them trailing clubhouse leader Missouri Southern State University by 39-strokes after the first day of play in the two-round tournament.
UD senior Brady Bulmanski (Batesville, AR/Batesville H.S.) headlined for the Crusaders, shooting a 78, which currently has him tied for 25th place. Bulmanski accounted for 13 of UD's 38 pars on the day.
Three UD golfers are neck-and-neck with each other after round one, as freshman Marcos Martinez (The Woodlands, TX/The Woodlands H.S.) shot an 85, while Eric Bechter (Bermuda/Warwick Academy) and Collin Putoff (West Lake Hills, TX/Home School) shot 86, respectively.
Round-two of the Mary-Hardin Baylor Invitational will be played Tuesday, September 28.
