Love Named UD Men's Basketball Team MVP

IRVING, Texas – Jai Love (St. Louis, Mo.) was named the Team MVP for the University of Dallas men's basketball team for the 2020-21 season. The honor is voted on by student-athletes. This is the second time and year in a row Love was granted the accolade.

Love was the top scorer for Dallas this season with 157 points (14.3 ppg). He also held the top spot on the squad in assists (49) and steals (17). In 11 games, Love was the only player to start all of them. He eclipsed double-digits in points in nine games, including starting the year with a personal-best 28 points on 11-for-15 free throw shooting at Austin College (Jan. 15).
