Boyle Leads USCAA in Field Goal Percentage and Blocks-Per-Game
NORFOLK, Va. – Jack Boyle (Silver Spring, M.d.) from the University of Dallas men's basketball team ranked first in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) for field goal percentage with a 57.3 mark and blocks-per-game with a 1.7-clip.
Boyle is a freshman forward that played all 11 games this shortened season for the Crusaders. He averaged 9.7 points and 8.4 rebounds (3rd USCAA) to help notch four double-doubles. Boyle eclipsed double figures in points in six games, all coming within the last seven on the year. He also managed double figures on the glass in four games, including a combined 34 in two games at home versus Centenary College on consecutive days. Boyle also was on a mission defensively those two games with nine blocks, including six in one outing.
Boyle finished with 107 points, 49-58 field goal shooting, 92 rebounds, and 17 blocks while having averaged 24 minutes.
Other top five statistical mentions in the USCAA for Dallas include: Letrell Toussaint (Waco, Texas) with a 55.7 field goal percentage and 8.7 rebounds-per-game for second in each. Jai Love (St. Louis, Mo.) finished fourth with a 41.7 three-point field goal percentage.
