Nunn Named to USCAA National All-Academic Team 2nd Year in a Row

UNIONTOWN, Pa. – Joshua Nunn (St. Louis, Mo.) was selected to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) National All-Academic Division I Basketball Team on Wednesday, March 11, at the National Championship Banquet at Seven Springs Resort on Wednesday, March 11th.

The USCAA National All-Academic award is given to student-athletes with at least 24 credits and a 3.5 GPA. A full list of award winners can be found on the release by clicking here

Nunn earned the selection for consecutive years with the junior earning the accolade both times eligible. This is the sixth straight season that the University of Dallas men's basketball team has placed a recipient on the USCAA National All-Academic list. Nunn is the fourth different Crusader within that span and second to be named multiple times. The other was Tom Kaiser all three years eligible.

Nunn has lettered two seasons with the Crusaders, and was limited this season due to injuries. He appeared in just four games and averaged 18.8 minutes in them. He totaled 13 points, nine assists, four steals, and four rebounds.

Prior to this campaign, Nunn played in all 54 contests and made 37 starts. That included all 28 in 2018-19, the first time the point guard notched the academic achievement.

Another academic honor that Nunn has earned has been the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Winter Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll on the last two seasons.
