FIRST TIP
The University of Dallas men's basketball team will host Texas Lutheran University and Southwestern University for the final home weekend of the season. The Crusaders host the Bulldogs on Friday at 5:30 p.m. UD then will take on the Pirates on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. On Saturday Dallas will recognize four players on Senior Day before the game. Those being recognized include: Scott Bolen (Houston, Texas), Isaiah Hayes (Arlington, Texas), John Russell (Bossier City, La.), and Michael Wambsganss (Denver, Colo.).
UD is coming off an 0-2 road weekend at Trinity University and Schreiner University, but have four key games to rebound and fight for a spot in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) postseason tournament. Dallas (11-10, 7-7 SCAC) currently holds the four seed in the conference standings. The top-six teams make the tournament, excluding the University of St. Thomas (TX) and Johnson & Wales University (CO), who are both in their transition years into the NCAA Division III and are not eligible for the SCAC tournament during the transition.

SAAC CHANGE FOR The Better
The University of Dallas Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be collecting change at this weekend's home events to donate to the annual SCAC "Change For The Better" campaign.
Approved by the SCAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee in 2015, the "Change for the Better" contest allows each member institution to collect as much change as possible from fans, parents and students in support of a chosen charity over the course of one week during the conference basketball season.
Jars will be available at the top of the concourse in the Maher Center where donations can be made.
UD NOTES
- Dustin Mathis (Fort Worth, Texas) leads the Crusaders with 269 total points and 134 made three-pointers. Mathis also holds the team-lead with 73 assists.
- Letrell Toussaint (Waco, Texas) has been a force on the boards all season and leads UD with 137 rebounds, averaging 6.5-per-game.
- Michael Wambsganss (Denver, Colo.) continues to lead UD with 14.1-points-per-game.
- Dallas is averaging 70.5 points-per-game.
- UD is 6-4 on its home court this season.

- Texas Lutheran University (12-9, 9-5 SCAC) lost back-to-back games at the University of St. Thomas and Centenary College last weekend.
- Sebastian Andrade has compiled 380 points this season, which is the fourth most in the conference. Andrade had 18 points in the win over UD earlier this season.
- Caleb Lister has come down with 179 total rebounds on the campaign (5th SCAC). Lister is averaging 8.5 per game.
- TLU has the least amount of turnovers per game among SCAC teams this season (13.0-per-game).
- TLU has allowed the fewest three-pointers, offensive rebounds, and assists among all SCAC schools on the defensive side of the ball.
- Southwestern University (9-12, 5-9 SCAC) is coming into Irving on a three-game losing streak.
