Levi adds to Weekly Honors: Tabbed USCAA Player of the Week

NORFOLK, Va. - Spencer Levi of the University of Dallas Crusaders has been named USCAA Men's Division I Basketball Player of the Week. The Missouri native scored 25 points in both games for the Crusaders as the team went 2-0 last week.

In the first game of the week against the University of Ozarks, Levi pulled down 11 boards and recorded four blocks. Against Johnson & Wales University Denver, the freshman had his second double-double of the week with 25 points and 14 rebounds. He was one block away from a triple-double with nine – individual game record - on the night as the Crusaders improved to 5-1 on the season.

Levi shot 22-for-24 (91.7%) from the field and to bolster his season percentage at an 81.0-clip. The freshman is third in NCAA Division III and atop the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). His pair of double-doubles last week give him four total.

Levi was also named to D3Hoops.com Team of the Week and SCAC Player-of-the-Week after his memorable performances.

Dallas is focusing on final exams the rest of the week and return to the court on December 16th versus Colorado College.
