GEORGETOWN, Texas – On Saturday, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) released the All-SCAC Men's Basketball Teams. The University of Dallas had a trio of recipients named Honorable Mention. Michael Sarrat (Colleyville, Texas), Lorenzo Gonzalez (San Antonio, Texas), and Darrius Colvin (Waco, Texas) all were tabbed.

Sarrat and Gonzalez each earned their second All-Conference accolades in just as many seasons. Colvin received the nod for his first postseason achievement in his sophomore year.

Sarrat closed his four-year career by averaging 12.8 points (tied with 2015-16's personal best) and became the 15th player in the program to break 1,000 career points. He accomplished that feat on February 5 against Centenary College in the Maher Center. Sarrat concluded the campaign ranked 11th all-time in scoring with 1,071 points. He also tied a personal most in steals (30) for consecutive seasons and was one rebound shy of a personal best with 86. The team leader in made three-pointers chimed in with 34 to give him 148 overall.

Gonzalez, who is a fellow classmate and four-year letter winner, also earned an All-Conference Award in back-to-back seasons. The point guard finished his final season with 221 points (8.8 average), and ranked top three in the SCAC for assists (117). Those dimes surpassed his previous personal best last year by five and gave him exactly 330 over his career. He ranks 7th all-time and is the most recent Crusader to achieve 300 career assists. He made the feat on Feb. 3 versus Austin College at home.

Colvin poured a career-high 334 points (13.4 average) to lead the team in both columns. The sophomore sits at 499 points and matched a personal best 25 points in four outings. These include his final two games of the regular season at home versus Colorado College (Feb 18) and Hendrix College (Feb. 19). Colvin also garnered a team-high 165 rebounds and surpassed his block total from his rookie year by three (16). The guard dished 59 assists to improve his mark in that category by over 30. Not too many players recorded double-doubles this season, but Colvin had the most with four.
