Poe selected to play in Costa Rica with Beyond Sports

IRVING, Texas – Kyle Poe ('16) has been selected from a pool of NCAA Division II and III players to participate with an organization known as Beyond Sports. Poe is a member of the University of Dallas men's basketball team, and will be traveling to Costa Rica from June 8-16. During his trip, Poe expects to suit up and play games against Costa Rica top professional teams and host daily basketball camps in less fortunate neighborhoods for youth.

"This is an opportunity of a lifetime. Getting to play professional basketball in a foreign country is a blessing," Poe exclaimed. "I will coach the youth and practice my Spanish speaking. I am thankful for my teachers and coaches at the University of Dallas who have prepared me for this. I would like to thank God and my Family, too."
