UNIONTOWN, Pa. - During the championship banquet at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort on Tuesday night, the USCAA announced the 2016 USCAA Basketball National All-Academic team. National All-Academic team honors are awarded to student-athletes of sophomore standing or higher with at least a 3.5 GPA.

Earning the honor for his second consecutive year was junior Tom Kaiser (Nashville, Tenn.) from the University of Dallas men's basketball team. He continues to excel in the classroom and also develop on the court as an impact player for the Crusaders.

In his third season, Kaiser lettered for the second straight season and produced career numbers in scoring (253 points) and rebounds (192 rebounds). The forward led the team in total boards and ranked third in the conference most of the season by averaging 8.3 a contest. Kaiser recorded eight doubled-doubles on the year. He also was top five in the league with a career-high 33 blocks and 17 versus SCAC opponents.
