COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Dallas men's basketball team (11-13, 5-9 SCAC) has wrapped their 2013-14 conference slate, after achieving a 67-66 victory over Colorado College (16-7, 9-5 SCAC) on Saturday afternoon at Reid Arena.

The Crusaders trailed  (17-10) and led by as many as seven (27-20) points in a first-half that produced seven lead changes.

Head coach Jarred Samples' squad trailed 34-33 entering halftime, after the Tigers went 14-of-28 (50 percent) from the floor in the opening frame.

Dallas faced a six-point (48-42) deficit, with 11:29 to go in the contest.

It was at this point the navy and white used a 19-7 run to take a six-point (61-55) lead of their own, with 3:05 to go in regulation.

A chess match, down the stretch, gave Colorado College the opportunity to win.

With 29 seconds left in the game, Jake Tramutolo netted a 3-pointer to give the Tigers a one-point (66-65) advantage.

Senior guard Nate Wilson (Fairbanks, Alaska) countered with a layup from junior guard Kym Malone (Richardson, Texas) -- with nine seconds showing on the scoreboard -- to put the Crusaders on top for good, 67-66.

Ryan Milne missed what would have been the game-winning jumper for the Tigers, with three seconds remaining.

Wilson, who hauled-in the defensive rebound from Milne's arrant shot attempt, ended with a team-high 14 points. He added five rebounds, an assist and a steal in 25 minutes on the court.

Senior forward/center Ross Davidson (Dana Point, Calif.) finished with 12 points and a game-high nine rebounds (two offensive) for Dallas.

Colorado College had three student-athletes enter double-figure scoring. Chris Lesnansky totalled a game-high 22 points in 36 minutes of play, while Milne recorded 18 points, and Russell Clark had 10 points.
