Aaron Wyatt, Nate Wilson selected to 2013-14 All-SCAC Men's Basketball 'Third Team'

SAN ANTONIO - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) has balloted University of Dallas junior forward Aaron Wyatt (Frisco, Texas) and senior guard Nate Wilson (Fairbanks, Alaska) to the 2013-14 All-SCAC Men's Basketball Third Team.

The accolades come for these student-athletes, following a 12-14 (5-9 SCAC) season by the Crusaders.

Head coach Jarred Samples' squad entered the 2013-14 SCAC Championship Tournament as the No. 6 seed, before falling to No. 3 seed Colorado College in the quarterfinals.

Wyatt, a three-year letterwinner, is a first-time honoree on an All-SCAC team. He, however, was named SCAC Player-of-the-Week, twice, in the 2013-14 season.

He fell nine points short of a second-team designation.

The 6-foot-5, 185-pounder tallied a league-best 6.6 rebounds-per-game for the navy and white.

Wyatt also finished with 57 offensive rebounds (second), 159 total rebounds (third), a 53.3-percent mark from the field (third) and 102 defensive rebounds (seventh).

Wilson, a two-year letterwinner, is also a first-time selection on an All-SCAC team.

He fell 13 points short of a second-team nod.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder ended with 5.9 rebounds-per-game, which was fourth in the conference.

Wilson also notably accumulated 154 total rebounds (fourth), 113 defensive rebounds (fifth) and 314 points (ninth).

He ended his Dallas career with 484 total points, to average 9.3 points per game, and 242 rebounds, for 4.7 rebounds per game.
