Ross Davidson tabbed to 2013-14 All-@SCAC_Sports Men's Basketball 'Second Team'

SAN ANTONIO - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) has named University of Dallas senior forward/center Ross Davidson (Dana Point, Calif.) to the 2013-14 All-SCAC Men's Basketball Second Team.

This honor comes for Davidson, following a 12-14 (5-9 SCAC) season by the Crusaders.

Head coach Jarred Samples' squad entered the 2013-14 SCAC Championship Tournament as the No. 6 seed, before falling to No. 3 seed Colorado College in the quarterfinals.

The second such accolade for the three-year letterwinner, Davidson was previously selected to the 2012-13 All-SCAC Men's Basketball Second Team.

In his final campaign, Davidson fell six points short of a first-team designation.

The 6-foot-7, 250-pounder amassed a league-best 133 defensive rebounds in the 2013-14 season.

He also notably had 171 total rebounds (second), 6.6 rebounds per game (second), 151 made field goals (third), 24 blocks (fourth), 16.5 points per game (fourth), 430 points (fifth), 43 converted 3-pointers (seventh), a 38.1 3-point percentage (ninth) and 85 made free throws (10th).

Davidson ended his career with 1,064 points, to the tune of 15 points-per-game in 71 games played. He tallied 498 career rebounds, to average seven per game.
