Colorado College chases Men's Basketball, 71-66

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Dallas men's basketball team (11-9, 6-5 SCAC) did not cash in on a pivotal conference game Saturday afternoon, as the Crusaders fell 71-66 to Colorado College at Reid Arena. 

Dallas shot 15-of-24 (62.5 percent) from the field in the first half, but the Tigers (12-9, 8-3) entered the break on a 13-0 run. Head coach Jarred Samples' squad led 37-35 at halftime.  

Chris Lesnansky's 11 second-half points and Daniel Webb's game-high 16 points helped Colorado claim a five-point victory. 

Webb connected on 4-of-4 from distance, and the Tigers netted 10-of-22 (45.5 percent) from 3-point range. 

In defeat, junior forward Ross Davidson (Dana Point, Calif.) and sophomore forward Aaron Wyatt (Frisco, Texas) each paced Dallas with 11 points. The duo also combined for 14 rebounds. 

Junior guard Nate Wilson (Fairbanks, Alaska) added 10 points. 

Colorado generated a 16-6 points-off-turnovers and 25-20 bench-points margin, while the Crusaders outrebounded their foe 33-28.

Dallas hosts Austin College (6-16, 3-9 SCAC) at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6, at the Maher Athletic Center.
