IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's basketball team (9-4, 4-1 SCAC) overcame a nine-point halftime deficit en route to a 68-64 overtime triumph over Colorado College on Friday evening at the Maher Athletic Center.

Dallas trailed 31-22 at the break, after Colorado (7-7, 4-1 SCAC) netted four 3-pointers in the opening half.

The Tigers led by a game-high 12 points with 18:28 remaining, but the Crusaders converted 16-of-26 (61.5 percent) from the field in the second-half to force overtime.

Things looked bleak for Dallas down the stretch, as Colorado garnered a 59-55 advantage with 31 ticks to go.

Sophomore guard Kym Malone (Richardon, Texas) made good on an 'and-one' play to keep his team within striking distance. Malone finished with 11 points.

Colorado's James Lonergan knocked down two free-throws late, and tallied a game-high 20 points.

With a steely demeanor, Tanner Bruffey (Lubbock, Texas) sent the game to overtime when he deposited a 3-pointer with five seconds on the clock to knot the score 61-61. The senior forward ended with a team-high 15 points.

Ross Davidson also entered double-figure scoring, as the junior forward paired 13 points with seven rebounds (one offensive).
