IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's basketball team (5-2, 2-0 SCAC) boasts a five-game winning streak thanks to an 82-75 triumph Monday evening over Centenary College of Louisiana at the Maher Athletic Center.

Dallas trailed 36-31 at halftime, but converted 17-of-27 (63 percent) in the second-half to overtake the Gents (5-5, 1-3 SCAC) for the second time in three days. The Crusaders registered 26 of their 32 points-in-the-paint and 17-of-21 bench points in the final period.

Senior forward Tanner Bruffey (Lubbock, Texas) continues to produce for head coach Jarred Samples' squad. The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Player-of-the-Week garnered a team-high 22 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the field and a 10-of-11 effort from the free-throw line.

Three other Crusaders reached double-figures. Senior guard Drew Assinesi (Pasadena, Calif.) accounted for 16 points, while sophomore guard Kym Malone (Richardson, Texas) and junior forward Ross Davidson (Dana Point, Calif.) had 15 and 12 points, respectively.

Centenary's Jonathan Blount delivered a game-high 30 points, as he knocked down 15-of-16 from the charity stripe. His teammate Donovan Williams finished with a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds).
