Bruffey, Davidson back Men's Basketball to 90-65 win over Southwestern Adventist University

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas men's basketball team (1-2) achieved a 90-65 victory over Southwestern Adventist University (SAU) Tuesday evening in the home-opener at the Maher Athletic Center.

Junior forward Ross Davidson (Dana Point, Calif.) had a team-high 26 points and a game-high 13 rebounds (five offensive) for his second double-double of the season. 

Tanner Bruffey (Lubbock, Texas) tabulated a double-double also for Dallas, as the junior forward poured in 13 points to go with 12 rebounds (six offensive).

Senior guard Drew Assinesi (Pasadena, Calif.) finished with 16 points. 

SAU's Chris Franklin notched a game-high 28 points. 

Winning nearly every statistical category, the Crusaders held a rebound advantage of 58-32. 

Next opponent: 

Dallas heads to New London, Conn., to compete in the Citizens Bank Tournament. The team will combat Connecticut College at 8:00 p.m. EST on Friday, Nov. 30.
