NEAC Names Men's Basketball All-Conference Teams

NEAC ALL-CONFERENCE SELECTIONS

MEN'S ALL-CONFERENCE TEAMS
The NEAC selected the Men's Basketball All-Conference Teams today where the top 15 players, as selected by their coaches, receive first, second, and third team honors. The NEAC also selected David Golembiowski of SUNY Institute of Technology, as the Player of the Year. Golembiowski, a junior center, finished the season with 531 points (21.2/game), 254 rebounds (10.2/game), 23 assists, 15 steals, 72 blocks, 61-for-175 from three point range (.349 behind the arch), 66-of-80 from the free throw line (.825 from the line), and an overall shooting percentage of .513. Golembiowski was selected two times this season as Athlete of the Week. SUNY Institute of Technology coach, Kevin Grimmer, was selected by his peers as the NEAC Coach of the Year. Coach Grimmer led his team to a 24-4 overall record, and the institution's second consecutive NCAA berth in Men's Basketball.

Associate members include: Medaille College, SUNY-Oneonta, Rutgers University-Camden, and the University of Dallas. The NEAC has a partnership with the North Atlantic Conference in the sports of baseball, women's lacrosse, men's and women's tennis.
