Men’s Basketball Season Ends with First Round Loss in NEAC Tournament

The men's basketball season ended with a tough loss to SUNY-Cobleskill in the first round of the NEAC tournament. UD wound up losing 65-51, despite holding a 24-23 lead at the half.

In his last game in a UD uniform, senior guard Jim Norton (Louisville, KY/Holy Angels Academy) led Dallas in scoring, as he did many times in his career, with 19 points on 7 of 18 shooting from the field while also pulling down 6 rebounds.
Senior Pete Popovich (St. Louis, Missouri/Gateway Academy) had a solid game shooting 6 of 10 from the field, scoring 13 points and grabbing 4 rebounds.

UD finished 12-14 on the year.
