Crusaders Fall to #19 Ranked Tornados

IRVING, Texas – Dallas opened the series strong with a convincing win, but couldn't maintain momentum as Concordia University took the final two games to win the weekend matchup 2-1. The Crusaders (7-23, 7-20 SCAC) showcased flashes of offensive power in game one but were held in check during the final two contests.

G1 | UDallas 8, Concordia 2
The Crusaders set the tone early, tallying 13 hits and eight runs in a strong series opener. Luke Gill delivered a big blow (2-for-4, 4 RBI, R), including a bases-clearing double to break the game open. Cody Jenkins (2-for-4, 2 RBI), Tyler Espinosa (1-for-4, 2 RBI), and Caleb Hohman (2-for-5, 2 R) added solid contributions.

On the mound, William Mosley and Keller Shamburger kept Concordia in check, allowing just two runs in the victory.

G2 | Concordia 3, UDallas 0
Dallas struggled to find offense in game two, collecting only four hits and being shut out for the first time in the series. Caleb Hohman (2-for-4) and Caleb Mize (2-for-4) were the lone bright spots at the plate, but the Crusaders were unable to capitalize on limited baserunners.

G3 | Concordia 15, UDallas 3
Concordia controlled the series finale from start to finish, jumping out early and never looking back. Despite five hits and three runs for Dallas, the offense couldn't keep pace. Caleb Mize (2-for-4, RBI) led the way, while Cody Jenkins (1-for-4, RBI) and Caleb Hohman (RBI) also contributed.
