Lowe Claims USCAA Baseball All-American Honorable Mention

DUBOIS, Pa. - The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) announced it's All-American and End of the Year Award winners for Baseball and Softball during the Homerun Derby at Showers Field. University of Dallas Crusader Ross Lowe (Lewisville, Texas) of the baseball team was an Honorable Mention recipient.

In 2021, Lowe was one of UD's top all-around offensive players leading the Crusaders in batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and home runs as well as being a top five batter in hits, runs and walks.  Lowe's final numbers on the year were 29 hits, seven doubles, two triples, two home runs, 26 runs and 12 walks with a slash line of .345/.467/.548.

Lowe's run total was the 14th best in the USCAA, and additionally his numbers in OBP, doubles, SLG and batting average also rank in the USCAA top 50.  Lowe's OBP mark was 22nd, doubles was 23rd, SLG was 34th and batting average was 45th.

Lowe was also named to the All-SCAC Honorable Mention Team this spring. 

Lowe's appearance on the USCAA All-American team is the first time a Crusader was named to the team since teammate Nathan Patton was 1st Team USCAA All-American in 2018.
