Crusaders Baseball Heads to Austin College for Last Regular Season Series

SHERMAN, Texas - The University of Dallas baseball team play their final series of the year against Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) rival Austin College.  Dallas (10-18, 6-11) won two out of three in their last series against the University of St. Thomas.  Austin (5-20, 1-17) was swept in their three game series at Southwestern University.  The last time these two teams met was also the season finale in 2019, in which the Crusaders won two out of three.

The series will take place in Sherman, Texas with game times scheduled at 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2.


Things to Note:

In the 2019 series, the Crusaders as a team were 16 for 18 for stolen bases in the three games.

Michael Jaquez (Irving, Texas) went 6-12 with three doubles, six RBIs, four runs, two walks and three stolen bases in the series two years ago.

In the 2019 series, 'Roos hit five total home runs against the Crusaders.

Ryan Culp pitched six innings in relief in Austin's game two win two years ago allowing just one run, earned, on two hits with four walks and five strikeouts.
