Baseball Assistant Coach Nolen Resigns

IRVING, Texas – Brandon Nolen an assistant coach for the University of Dallas baseball team announced his resignation on Tuesday. His final day will be on Friday, July 29. An immediate national search is underway. Nolen will be returning to his home state in Tennessee, where he has accepted a position at Summit High School. Nolan will be a P.E. teacher and assistant baseball coach for the school located in Spring Hill, Tennessee.

Nolen joined the Crusaders' staff in October, 2014 and served as an assistant for two seasons. His hiring was immediate in the same month that current head coach Joe Myers was promoted.

The past two years with UD, Nolen played an important role in working with the offense and also in recruiting. In the most recent season, the Crusaders went 12-28 and were 8-10 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) action.
