GLENS FALLS, N.Y. – The 2016 USCAA All-Academic team were announced at the Championship Banquet at the Glens Falls Civic Center.  The USCAA awarded 64 National All-Academic awards. Congratulations to this year's winners.

Among the recognized in this list included University of Dallas baseball pitcher William Marshall (Frisco, Texas). The junior right-hander earned the first USCAA All-Academic winner since Joshua Crapps (Class of '14) earned the accolade two years ago.

To qualify for a nomination, an athlete must boast a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Marshall is majoring in business.

Marshall led the UD pitching staff in appearances (22) and strikeouts (33). Both were career-highs, as he also notched top three spots on the staff with personal bests for innings (44.0) and earned run average (3.48). Marshall also finished with a 3-3 record and two saves.
