Martin Cronin selected as @SCAC_Sports Baseball 'Pitcher of the Week'

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - MARTIN CRONIN OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a junior right-handed pitcher from The Woodlands, Texas, has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Baseball Pitcher-of-the-Week for games played Monday, April 7, through Sunday, April 13.

Cronin put together a brilliant complete-game effort in game one of Saturday's doubleheader versus Schreiner University, helping Dallas to a 2-1 series victory.

Cronin allowed only one hit in six innings of work (game ended in seven). He struck-out five Mountaineer batters, and walked another.

Cronin is now 6-3 on the season, with a 3.34 ERA (seventh in the SCAC). His six wins are tied for second in the conference.
