Martin Cronin dubbed a 2014 @USCAA Baseball 'Second Team' All-American

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - University of Dallas junior right-handed pitcher Martin Cronin (The Woodlands, Texas) has been named by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) to the 2014 USCAA Baseball All-American Second Team.

All-Academic and All-American selections were announced on Sunday at the USCAA National Championship. Statistics do not include postseason play.

This is the first-such USCAA award earned by the 6-foot-4 Cronin. A three-year letterwinner, he started all 12 games he appeared in during the 2014 season. In 77 innnings pitched, Cronin garnered a 3.16 earned run average, 39 strikeouts and a 6-3 record. His six wins are sixth-best in the USCAA.
