Baseball to play 'Senior Day' doubleheader on Saturday versus Dallas Christian College

IRVING, Texas - Saturday, Apr. 21, will mark 'Senior Day' for the University of Dallas baseball team, in the squad's last tune-up before heading to Millington, Tenn., to participate as the West Division No. 3 seed in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's Baseball Championship.

Dallas will host Dallas Christian College on Saturday in a (1x7, 1x9) doubleheader, with first pitch slated for 1 p.m. at Crusader Field.

'Senior Day' announcements commemorating Dallas' six seniors -- Devin Arnold, Michael Byers, Varea Costello, Stephen Hansen, Brian Shelburne, and Michael Schweiss -- will take place prior to the start of Game 2 at approximately 3 p.m.

Under head coach Fraser Holmes' tutelege for the past three seasons, this senior class has compiled a 98-69-1 record since they first took to the field for Dallas.
