Steve Prud'homme played basketball at the University of Dallas when the sport was revived as a varsity sport from 1985-86 to 1987-88. He is the all-time leading scorer for the Crusaders with 1,475 points and in a season with 547. On the career chart he is second in field goals and free throws, fourth in points per game, assists and assists per game and fifth in steals and free throw percentage. During those years he accounted for 22.3% of the points scored by his team. His career line: 91 games, 521 field goals 42.2%, 94 3 pointers 41.7%, 339 free throws 80.5%, 1,475 points 16.2 ppg, 250 rebounds 2.7 pg, 327 assists 3.5 pg, 113 steals 1.2 pg.
