Liz Mikkelsen was a member of the women's soccer team from 1999 to 2002. During that time she led the team to the NCAA Division III tournament in 2001 and championships of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association in 2001 and 2002. She holds school records for most goals in a game, 4, and in a season 26. Those 26 goals were the impetus for the University of Dallas being ranked #1 in NCAA Division III in goals scored and an All American selection for her. She also holds season records for assists, 14 and points 62. She is second in UD career goals, assists and points. Additionally she was an American Southwest Conference West Division selection in 2000 and 2001.
