Dallas ranked 7th on Tucker Center Study

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – According to a study conducted by the Tucker Center for Research on Girls & Women in Sport at University of Minnesota, The University of Dallas athletics department ranked 7th of 56 schools reviewed within six of NCAA Division III conferences. These conferences included: Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, New England Small College Athletic Conference, Southern Athletic Association, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, Southern California Athletic Conference, and the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Conference.

Based on the data collected by the Tucker Center, University of Dallas was awarded an above average grade of an A or B on the Women in College Coaching Report Card for percent of women’s head coaches of women’s teams within the last two years. 

Dallas was one of 19 schools to score an above average grade of a B, which was the highest mark given by the Tucker Center. The Crusaders are a member of the SCAC and were the lone program to receive a B in the survey. Dallas tallied a 62.5 percent rating to secure the seventh slot on the list.
