
SCAC Releases fall All-Sportsmanship team
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its seventh annual fall All-Sportsmanship teams. A total of 43 student-athletes were selected to the 2014 squad in the sports of men’s cross country, women’s cross country, football, men’s soccer, women’s soccer and volleyball.
Dallas placed five athletes total, one coming from the eligible programs the institution offers. Among those tabbed with the honors included: junior men’s cross country runner Javier Secaira (Tacoma, Wash.), junior women’s cross country runner Emma Polefko (Cypress, Texas), freshman men’s soccer player Moises Gomez (La Miranda, Calif.), sophomore women’s soccer player Cascade Mayer (Kapaa, Hawaii), and sophomore volleyball athlete Mairin Guilfoyle (Roanoke, Va.).
The SCAC places a special emphasis on sportsmanship each year
and is asking all fans of the conference to exhibit good
sportsmanship at all conference functions throughout the 2014-2015

Each head coach was asked to elect one member from his or her team
who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season.
