Cross Country completes season, at SLIAC Conference Meet
The University of Dallas Cross Country team travelled to Hillsboro, Ill., for the final meet of the 2010 season. The Dallas women finished fifth, while the men, who also had seven runners, placed eighth.
Leading the Crusaders in the women’s 6K race was junior Catherine Sercer (Fort Scott, Kan./Fort Scott H.S.), who finished tenth out of 68 runners, posting a time of 25:23:03.
In the men’s 8K, Alex Bukaty placed 28th out of 100 runners, with a time of 27:59:69. He was closely followed by teammate Clement O’Reilly who came in 30th place at a time of 28:11:66.
