Where Are They Now: Polefko Serves as Communications Director for U.S. House of Representatives

Emma Polefko has worked with the U.S. House of Representatives for the past two years and five months. She joined the organization as a Press Assistant in August 2016. In March 2017, Polefko was promoted to Communications Director and remains in that position today. In the Texas State Directory, Polefko is listed on staff for the Honorable Randy Weber.

Polefko is a recent graduate from the University of Dallas, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Politics in 2016. Polefko had a Concentration in International Studies.

Polefko lettered three seasons (2013-15) with the Dallas women's track and field team and two seasons (2012, '15) with the women's cross country team. The distance runner competed four seasons of track and three seasons of cross country. She currently is part of two relay records in the track program – the Distance Medley Relay and 4x1500m Relay.

Polefko also committed time at UD as the Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper and served as a Student Ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
