Women's Cross Country ETBU Invitational Results

MARSHALL, Texas – The University of Dallas women's cross country team competed in the East Texas Baptist University Invitational on Saturday. Dallas ranked sixth place with a 167 points out of the Division III programs. This was the first 6K race for the Crusaders this fall. Making debuts for UD included: Angela Moore (Austin, Texas), Mary Korth (McKinney, Texas), Ana Wilhelm (Kiowa, Kan.), Elizabeth Herrera (Keller, Texas), and Mary Rose Corkery (Mansfield, Ma.).

Moore led the team with a time of 24:48.45 minutes and was sixth place. She was the lone Crusader to break in the top 10, but did it for the second consecutive competition. Joey Danaher (Boulder, Colo.) finished in 29th in a field of 67 racers. Her time was clocked at a 26:54.71 result and was a 23 second personal record.

On the team side, the University of Texas at Dallas (46 points), University of Texas at Tyler (50), and McMurry University (73) completed the top three places on the podium. 

UP NEXT

Dallas has begun a stretch of three consecutive Saturday's with a race. Next up is University of Ozarks Invitational on October 8. The following weekend on the 15th is the one home competition for the Crusaders.
